Mystic Americana

I am a big fan of business signage and ephemera of times past. Rolling into some small towns, one feels as if time stopped in the 50s or 60s and it's as comfortable as it is ghostly.

More from the road

Having the opportunity to take this trip has been such a blessing for me. Meeting new people, seeing beloved friends, making new ones. And getting to know America in a new way.

Highlights from Memphis, TN

I visited Java Cabana Memphis to offer some readings for folks there during their open mic! This cafe is adorable! They offer gluten free, dairy free options and have a great little vintage boutique in the back! Well worth a visit.

Kicking off the Tarot Tour!

I'm proud to announce that I am making this blog entry from the first stop on my tarot tour, Asheville, NC! My partner and I made it here yesterday at 6pm after an incredible weekend in Durham prepping the van for the voyage and saying goodbye to friends and family before heading west. Friday evening, 09/01, my partner who performs as ManGoBe, gave a farewell house concert at a friend's house that was both successful and super fun! Local alt-country trio Dead Sea Sparrow opened the evening with some amazing original tunes. Then, after a short break, ManGoBe took the stage to share his own brand of folk/rock/psychedelic music filled with poetic lyrics and healing imagery. For more information on these bands go to: mangobe.com or deadseasparrow.com

The Van- we call it Snoopy

To kick off the tarot portion of the tour I brought my cards and intuitive wisdom to Crow and Quill, Asheville. The lounge has an archaic and gothic appeal, and the staff is cordial and quirky. They have dubbed themselves a "secret bar" with a locals only focus which creates a special ambiance. I had a soda water with black walnut bitters and it was divinely tasty!

Next stop on the tour is Nashville at Flatrock Coffee, Tea, & More! Come see me for some insight and mystic vibes.
